Treating a Wide Range of Mental Health Struggles
Depression. Anxiety. OCD. Those are the most common mental health struggles that we treat. However, we can and have helped with many, many others. It’s entirely possible that you know your mental health is suffering but you don’t entirely know what’s wrong. That’s fine. If you reach out to us for a free case evaluation, whether it’s through our site or by calling, we can provide you with more information. Hope and help are available.
Our professionals can provide you with the kind of therapy that’s right for your exact, specific needs. The moment you arrive, our pros will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your mental health. Drawing upon that information, we’ll make an individualized treatment plan that’s right for you.
Just about every individualized treatment plan will include therapy. In one-on-one sessions with a trained professional, they’ll work with you to not just treat your mental health struggles, but to find what’s driving them, the root cause. Then, once you’ve discovered that, your therapy will include addressing that, so that you can better understand your feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and ultimately, to manage them better.
Beyond individual therapy, you may also be a good fit for our group therapy sessions. In these intentionally-small groups, you’ll see that others are going through the same struggles that you are. Here, you can develop the kinds of social and life skills that may have atrophied during your mental health struggles. Then, in time, you can build the confidence that comes from having true fellowship and support of those on the same recovery journey as you.
There’s nothing “surface level” to treatment here at Laurel Grove Medical Center. In sessions with a psychiatrist, the two of you will work through your emotions, building the kind of resiliency that can empower you to make better, more constructive decisions. If medication or other forms of treatment are necessary, our psychiatrist can prescribe them to you.
All of your treatment when you’re here will be made exactly for your specific needs. You won’t receive treatment that worked for someone else because your strengths as well as what you’re dealing with is unique to you. We understand that and tailor your treatment accordingly. Then, as you grow and develop, we update your treatment, so that you can ultimately get to where you want to go.
The above treatments are just some of what you can receive at our center. You could receive the above treatments and more through our IOP or through our PHP. Additionally, you might receive the above treatments in combination with certain prescription medication and/or TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation), too. You don’t have to try and improve your mental health all by yourself. Through these treatments and many others, we’re in a position to help.
